Here is a list of the places to eat and of course what to eat when you get there. (unedited)

Jimmy's Food Store - Bryan @ Fitzhugh

You may or may not have heard of this Italian grocery. If you haven't heard or haven't been you have to go check it out. They have been in business forever but go get an Italian sub or muffuletta and enjoy. If you feel like cooking yourself go buy some of the homemade meatballs through them in some red sauce and enjoy.

The Porch - Knox Henderson

A great new addition to the list of places to go. With a great patio, oversized bar and lively atmosphere this place is a must. Items to have BBQ slides, Fish and Chips, Mac and Cheese and Short Rib Stroganoff.

i'Fratelli  Mckinney & Oak Grove (next to Starbucks)

Now we don't have to drive out Irving to get some of the best pizza in town. Take out, Delivery or just sit down on the self service patio table. This pizza is a must and it puts all the rest of the neighborhood places to shame. Quality & consistency is a good thing it feels like somebody cares back in the kitchen.

Ritz Carlton - Mckinney & Pearl

Go straight to the patio and hang out by the fireplace - casual and dressy with great people watching

Allen Street Lounge - Get away from the crowds and sit on the patio. Eat Pulled Pork Sandwich or Love Bowl. Drink Martini's. Located Allen and State

Mi Cocina - Newly opened modern designed bar guaranteed to be the best place in West Village for cocktails and food. Drink a Margarita on the rocks (Top 5 List) or Mambos - To eat - Nachos (with well done onions) or Quesadillas both with a side of Sunset sauce. You will never order these common Mexican dishes again anywhere. Located West Village

Primo's  - Again the patio (not on Tuesday's unless you get there early or late). Eat Stuffed Jalapenos  and a Cheeseburger (We know it is a Mexican restaurant trust us on this one)

TABC - Good Patio in the neighborhood. For Lunch - Penne Pasta. Located Thomas and Allen

ZaZa - North meets East meets West in this melting pot of people. Pulls people from all over the metroplex. That makes for the good, the bad and the ugly but hey some diversity in the hood is good every once in a while.. Drink by the pool!

Sorry but we have to tell you where not to Eat!!

Watels - Go there if you like a waiter to argue with you about the quality of your food and a waiter  that likes to cut your steak for you. email me us if you want the details

Jakes - If you want a Real burger go to Primo's or the new Moo yal. If you want fast food Jakes is your place.

Mattitos - This used to be on our list of places to go but 3 times this year the food has been undercooked, fishbones in the tacos and the service a D-. If you really like the menu here go to  Matt's in Lakewood - it is the original out of Austin and the food is always right on. Oh yea the Margaritas make our Top 5 List in the city. Located in Lakewood Shopping Center next to the Theatre
